College Programs

There is no substitute for real-world experience.

Broadreach takes an entirely different approach to studying abroad. We take college students beyond the classroom and out into the real world. If you’re studying shark behavior and habitat conservation in Fiji, for example, we see real academic value in putting on scuba gear and getting in the water with these incredible creatures. Everywhere we go we look for ways to complement academic theory with hands-on experience alongside professionals in the field. Join your professor to count sea turtle eggs on a moonlit beach. Shadow in-country journalists in Thailand and Laos, learning what foreign investigative reporting is all about. Or take a kayak adventure through the straits of British Columbia and study whales in their natural environment. Yes, you’ll earn college credit for this work. But more importantly, you’ll gain real and applied knowledge of your chosen subject plus valuable field experience for your future resume.

View Trips

Where to begin?
That depends on you.

Broadreach offers 70+ global education and skill-building summer adventures in 40+ countries for middle school, high school and college students. That’s a lot of different types of programs, and it can be overwhelming to try to figure out exactly where to begin. To make your search easier and more focused, we’ve hand-selected a few programs that are ideal for those new to Broadreach. They require no specific experience of any kind, just genuine curiosity and a willingness to allow your horizon to be blown wide open. You can bet on lots of fun and adventure, but it’s the valuable skills and knowledge you bring home that will have a lasting impact.

Each of the programs here perfectly embodies our unique approach to learning through hands-on experiences out in the real world. Every Broadreach student will earn a combination of community service hours and internationally recognized certifications as proof of their achievements. You may also choose to earn college credit through Lesley University on many programs.

Age

This is some stuff about grade

If you're scoring at home, it was A-Rod 1, Bud Selig 0 on Wednesday.

Sure, Alex Rodriguez acted like a petulant teenager when he angrily stormed out of his scheduled grievance hearing Wednesday afternoon in New York over the arbitrator's decision that Selig won't be forced to testify. ("This is f---ing bulls---!" A-Rod reportedly said as he pointed a finger at MLB chief operating officer Rob Manfred.) But even if the commissioner agrees to testify, it's doubtful Selig could top Rodriguez's subsequent comments during his interview with WFAN's Mike Francesa.

A breakdown of A-Rod's most provocative comments in that interview …
